Avoid Gaining Weight - See How to Maintain Fat Loss
There are many weight loss programs that are being followed by a lot of people all over the world. These programs in some way or the other involve reducing the food intake, shying away from various food types such as high-carb foods and taking a diet supplement that claims to reduce body fat easy and quick.
Believe it or not, losing weight is in fact the easy part. With a little diet and light exercise regularly you can achieve weight loss in a couple of weeks. What is hard and I think the most important is maintaining the body after achieving weight loss.
Most of the weight loss programs have thousands of success stories but behind all of these, a couple of months later, most of these weight losers end up gaining more weight when they started the program.
Rather than listening to amazing stories of weight loss, consider hearing the stories of weight maintainers to give you a complete perspective on gaining a healthy body.
Weight maintainers do exercise at least 30 minutes daily compared to weight losers. They also do additional activities like taking the stairs rather than the elevator. Weight maintainers also do more weight training exercises compared to weight losers.
Weight maintainers also keep a record of their calories, body weight, meals and fat. They even measure the amount of food that is on their plate. Although weighing your self and keeping track of your calorie intake is being highly criticized by most health experts, a research conducted between weight maintainers and weight losers proved that those who do so have a greater chance to maintain their body after achieving weight loss.
Most weight losers also are easy to make excuses when it comes to exercise. They will mostly say that they have no time or the energy to do exercises and that the diet program alone is enough to achieve loss weight. Well, they are partially right but they will not be able to ‘hold on’ to the weight loss after some time and will go back to eating recklessly and incessantly.
So which would you rather be? A loser or a maintainer?
