Fad Diets Equals Scam in Most Instances
There are many diet programs that are being followed by fitness fanatics nowadays. These programs have many names but they are all the same in the aspect that they restrict eating at least one or more of the food groups that your body needs to sustain itself. These fad diets are famous and they are being followed by celebrities and average people alike all over the world.
There are a thousand success stories of such diet programs that we can see on TV, read on magazines and listen on the radio. It is true that these diet programs can cause weight loss but until when is highly debatable. Most of the people on these specialize diet programs often times regain their weight back after a couple of months. We just did not know that simply because they don’t show failed fad diets on TV.
This is mainly due to one factor that is missing on their fitness program and that is to exercise. It is a proven fact that with less intake of food you will have less energy stored in your body and you will get tired easily. This can greatly affect your exercise regimen as you try to hold them off thinking all the while that the diet itself is enough to give you a lean, mean body that every one would envy.
This is one of the common mistakes of even avid fitness fanatics. Crash dieting alone is not the solution to the problem. Along with the diet, certain physical activities should be done also to increase the metabolism rate of the body burning all of the excess fats and thus achieving weight loss. Exercise does not only help you shed off extra fats but also tone your muscles giving you a firm body.
So before going on a fad diet make sure to include exercise in your daily regimen. Remember, going on a diet alone is not merely enough to help you lose weight. Worst of all, it is not even enough to help prevent you to regain the weight you have lost after a few months. Failed fad diets have catastrophic results like binge eating and laziness.
By doing cardio exercises or some other intensive exercises and by feeding your body clean food, you will surely lose weight and keep it off for as long as you want.
